TuffWrap kept a production facility up and running. C.O.R.E. Frameless Walls® was used to keep a dip and spread manufacturer open during the installation of a new production line.
When a food and beverage client needed to expand its production, it ran into a problem. New equipment was being installed in the same area as the existing line, and the work involved cutting concrete and operating heavy construction vehicles. If the existing line couldn’t be protected, the facility would have to shut down for days, which would cause expensive delays.
Fortunately, the project manager reached out to TuffWrap for assistance. The solution to their problem was a series of C.O.R.E. Frameless Walls®. The walls were used to bisect the floor between the old and new lines, meaning production wouldn’t have to slow down to accommodate the new equipment. The area around the new line would be covered by combining the Frameless Walls with our suspended cover in a Total Enclosure, trapping dust and debris in the area. Our signature Pocket Doors® ensured that crew and construction vehicles had easy access to and from the worksite.
When the job was done, the food client was thrilled with TuffWrap’s solution to the problem. Without having to divert resources to coordinating construction and shutting down production, they were able to maintain their regular schedule without interruption.
