SETTING CODE COMPLIANCE STANDARDS

IAPMO UNIFORM ES EVALUATION

TuffWrap® Installations Meets IAPMO’s Code Compliance Standards. How do you know if a product is suitable for your intended use? When it comes to building products you shouldn’t need to guess. TuffWrap knows what’s required to meet IAPMO’s code compliance standards for the industry.

IAPMO, professional credentialing services and the company behind Uniform ES reports, set the standards for code compliance. It provides a valid and reliable professional testing program to prove compliance with the code sections. These include flame and smoke performance, stability, and structural performance requirements.

But how do you know if the product you are looking at complies with any standards at all? Building codes are written to protect public health, safety, and welfare as they relate to the construction and occupancy of buildings and structures. Codes exist in construction to protect our health and safety. The only way to know for sure is if it has been evaluated by a recognized, accredited certification body.

In addition, we created a Manufacturing Audit System and Quality Control Procedure. Scheduled and continuous manufacturing facility audits are necessary to prove continuous compliance with the manufacturing process and quality assurance program.

Many people, like local building officials, fire marshals, and contractors want to make sure that the products are code compliant and right for the job. IAPMO’s Uniform ES report addresses the compliance questions. Look for the IAPMO Uniform ES Mark of Conformity to ensure the product is up to industry standards.
