TuffWrap kept food production going. Our signature SmartSeam® Suspended Cover was used to keep a large Food & Beverage manufacturer operational during roof work.

When it came to install a new roof over their manufacturing facility, this Food & Beverage Company ran into a problem. The roof over the entire 128,000 square foot facility needed to be replaced, but they couldn’t risk closing down while the work went on. An off-the-shelf plastic drape wasn’t an option, because the equipment reached up to the ceiling.

SmartSeam® Suspended Cover was able to cover the production facility’s equipment, and could be installed around all the protrusions. Because SmartSeam is the only code compliant suspended cover solution, it could be safely installed beneath the fire sprinklers.

The manufacturer was thrilled with the job TuffWrap did installing the suspended cover. During takedown, we also used High Structured Dust Removal to ensure that the facility was completely free of dust and debris after its roof was replaced.
