When a car manufacturer needed to repair two of the machines in its manufacturing line, it ran into a problem. The repairs involved cutting and welding, which could throw sparks and debris into the active area. If the existing line couldn’t be protected, the facility would have to shut down for days, which would cause expensive delays.
Fortunately, the project manager reached out to TuffWrap for assistance. The solution to their problem was a series of Hybrid Frameless Walls. The walls were used to separate the running lines from those under repair, meaning production wouldn’t have to slow down to accommodate the work. The Hybrid Walls were constructed of our flame resistant material, and reinforced with signature TuffPanel to prevent rips and tears. Our signature Pocket Doors® ensured that crew and construction vehicles had easy access to and from the worksite.
When the job was done, the manufacturing client was thrilled with TuffWrap’s solution to the problem. Without having to divert resources to coordinating repairs and shutting down production, they were able to maintain their regular schedule without interruption.
