When a downtown convention center had to demolish and rebuild their loading dock, they were left with a serious problem. All the concrete work would produce significant dust and debris, risking shutting down the entire dock area. The facility needed a way to complete its work while keeping the internal area protected against contamination.
Fortunately, their facility manager reached out to TuffWrap for assistance. The solution to their problem was a total enclosure made up of TuffWrap EXT Walls, TuffWrap’s signature exterior protection solution. The walls were used to create a sealed, protected space for the interior spaces until the work was completed. Additional straps were used to reinforce the walls, which stretched over 40 feet tall.
When the job was done, the retail client was thrilled with TuffWrap’s solution to the problem. The temporary solution kept employees protected against wind and weather, and got dock traffic rolling again with minimal interruptions.
